Author's pov:
As the party continued, Meera found herself in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. The music throbbed in the background, adding to the tension that simmered between her and Agastya. She couldn't shake off the intensity of their dance, the way his hand felt against her back, the electricity that sparked between them.
Agastya, on the other hand, was grappling with a storm of emotions within him. His heart raced as he held Meera close a few moments ago, the scent of her hair intoxicating him. He couldn't deny the pull he felt towards his wife, the woman he had married but barely knew beyond the surface.
Amidst the pulsating beats of the music, their eyes locked in the crowd , speaking volumes that words couldn't convey. Meera saw the turmoil in Agastya's gaze, the vulnerability that he tried to mask. She wanted to reach out, to bridge the gap between them, but uncertainty held her back.
As the song reached its crescendo, Meera and Agastya found themselves in a moment suspended in time. The world around them blurred, leaving only the two of them in a dance of emotions. Meera felt a surge of longing, a desire to unravel the enigma that was Agastya.
But just as quickly as the moment had arrived, it dissipated. Agastya abruptly pulled away his gaze from her, a mask of composure settling over his features. Meera searched his eyes for answers, but all she found was a guarded expression.
They returned back to their respective groups conversation , the distance between them palpable. Meera tried to shake off the lingering warmth of their dance, the unanswered questions swirling in her mind. Agastya watched her from afar, a war raging within him.
As the night drew to a close, Meera and Agastya found themselves at parking, their hearts entangled in a dance of emotions that neither could ignore. The party may have ended, but the echoes of their unspoken feelings lingered in the air, leaving them both restless and yearning for more.
