Avni Pov:

It’s 8:30 pm and I'm sitting in the middle of a crowded room. Basically it’s a conference room of my company.Everyone started yelling at eachother as I announced that the new project data is full of mistakes. I always prefer calmness and silence in a room.

“SILENCE!!!!”

I screamed to shut them up. All of them became quiet and stared at my angry face. “ Blaming eachother isn't the ultimate solution. You all have to check it. And I want it on my desk tomorrow. At 10 am sharp not a minute later. And without a single error. Otherwise all of you will be fired. The meeting is over. Leave right now. ”

As I stopped they left the room one by one. Sighing I leaned in my chair.

“ Ma'am should I ge—”

“ You can leave Pihu. Your work time is already over. Go to home to your newborn. Go.” I interrupt Pihu in the middle. She nod and left.

As she left I went to my cabin to get my things. As I left the building I saw it’s raining heavily outside. “Where to go Rajkumari sa?” The driver asked as I hopped in the car. “Palace, kaka sa.”

The car started and I kept looking outside. I felt tired. Tired of chasing the success. But I can't stop. Not until I get my revenge. I once believed that love would be beautiful but it always gave me pain. Since then I don’t want to fall in love again. The man whom I loved more than my life never loved me, all the time he was pretending to love me. I always loved him but he never did. A tear escaped my eyes and I quickly wipe it off. I shouldn’t feel vulnerable for that bastard. But I feel so alone right now. My best friend is in delhi since five months. He is the only person with whom I can be myself. Kabir Chauhan. The stupid boy and the only irritating guy who understands me. But rn he isn’t here to hold me when I'm on the verge of breaking down.

“We reached Rajkumari sa. ” I realised that I've reached home. “Dhanyavaad kaka sa ”I step out of the car. The guards opened the door for me. As I entered I sense some whispering in the drawing room. But they stopped as soon as they noticed me. They means my family. A dramatically ruthless family to be exact. I can spot everyone here- Ma, Baba, Chachu, Dadi sa, Chachi, Adhya masi, Kairav, Dhruvika and my three brothers. They were discussing something secret. But I know what they were taking about.

“You guys can continue. I going to my room. Also call me for dinner once you're done discussing about my birthday. ” I swear I heard them hiss at my words. Tomorrow is my birthday and they are planing about it. I knew it since they do it every year.

After a few hours I went downstairs to have dinner. I saw them still talking but now in the dining table. “I've something to say to you Avni" My dadi sa said as we were having dinner in silence.

I just nod my head in response. “ Well Avni you know that you are the eldest child of this house and you are a crowned princess. You're a very responsible girl beta. You are handling your work very wisely, I am truly proud of you.Tomorrow is your 28th birthday. I want to announce you as the next ruler of Singhania's tomorrow. ” I froze at my place. I always wanted to be the Queen. But it is finally happening. I need to text Kabir. “Say something Princess. Do you want to be the Queen?” Baba asked. I look up from my plate. Everyone's eyes are on me. Ma is looking at me with hope. “ Yeah. I don’t have any problem.” I replied and stood up. “ Yuvi, Avy, Rudy, Kai and Dhruvi meet me in my room after dinner.” I said and left for my room. I need to think about it.
